Amazing Trip
The Tungurahua volcano is known as "mama Tungurahua”. The province of Tungurahua has the name of this colossus, which houses in its skirts towns such as Baños and presents a unique show, although its existence is also is a threat to the villagers, as its greatness can also mean the amount of destruction it can cause in case of a strong rash. The activity of this volcano is a spectacle worth seeing at night.

Stunning landscape and hiking path to its refuge at 4000mt.
Description
The Tungurahua Volcano is located in the privince of Tungurahua, in the City of Banos de Agua Santa. with a height of 5023mt in height, where we can
do hike and climb to its summit. In a Hikking day in Tungurahua we can reach your refuge at approximately 4000mt.
We meet in our office where our guide will help you with the registration and checking that we have everything we need for this day. We leave at 09:00 with direction
to Pondoa. In 1hr more or less we reach the entrance of the Tungurahua Volcano where we register and get ready for our walk.
From the entrance it takes us 3 hours or so to reach the refuge, on the way you can see the typical Flora&Fauna of the Andean moorland.
After reaching the refuge, we will eat a box lunch and relax on the site. Here you can walk around, appreciate all the magical landscape that surrounds "La Mama Tungurahua"
After our visit we began our descent to the parking lot for our return to the city of Baños.

Itinerary
Meeting
We meet at Amazing Trip office 20min before the departure, for checking the group and gear needed.
Banos, Cotopaxi
As soon as we get ready we start driving towards Cotopaxi, passing by Ambato on the way to Quito, Latacunga.
Cotopaxi National Park
In about 2:30hr driving we reach the entrance to the Cotopaxi National Park, from here we drive to the Cotopaxi Volcano.
Cotopaxi Volcano Stops
Driving up to the Volcano we have some spots to visit such as: Museum to learnn about this area and Limpipungo Lake for walking and aclimatization.
Cotopaxi Glaciers
By car we reach 4800mt from where we do a hike first to the Jose Rivas Refuge and then to the Glaciers of Cotopaxi.
Return
After visiting the glaciers we are ready to drive back to Banos or continue driving to our next stop.
Biking Cotopaxi
The tour is possible to mix it with biking it is up to the customer.
